Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   Having dug as far down in the foundation trench as Panos can, we are now going to remove the martyr as risk of contamination is over. We are done digging the foundation trench and are covering it with nylon. Panos removed the west martyr down to the level of the remaining fill od the foundation trench. At the bottom of the martyr Panos hit hard red soil marking the bottom of this foundation trench in the west end. This hard red soil ends 0.45m from the west wall. To the east of this soil, our foundation trench continues downward in another, third cut but we are not excavating it because the area is too narrow to dig.
