This surface is cut at its north by Pit Cut 5557, on its west by a N-S robbing trench for Wall 71, and at its south by cut 5551. It abuts Wall 5463 on its north, where it is not actually cut by Pit Cut 5557. At the north, west of Pit Cut 5557, we expose darker and less pebbly fill running E-W. it could be a foundation trench for Wall 5463. It is easily distinguishable from the very pebbly fill found under our surface in general.
