| Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
| Notes: | This floor level goes partially over wall 5631 in the area of the threshold 5648. This floor is not associated with threshold 5648 and is later. Floor 5642 is 0.16 m higher than threshold 5648. Although the soil is very similar to that of floor 5632 immediately above, the boundary with this floor is clear because the top of the floor is hard packed. Its removal revealed a third floor which appeared to be associated with threshhold 5648. This floor (5642) is under threshhold 5647 and appears to be earlier (not contemporary). We left some of 5642 to pedastal threshhold 5647 because it is in danger of falling down. | |
