It is silty clay. | | Notes: | | Our goal in excavating this context was to find a continuation of the lines of the putative robbing trench we'd identified following the excavation of 5586 and 5589. We also discovered a strong vertical cut for the W side of the trench in the excavation of context 5778. The goal was to see if we could define entirety of the cut more clearly to the W and to try to find it for the first time to the W and S of context 5778.
When the hard top light-colored layer was removed (with difficulty), the dirt appeared to fall away from the edge of a regular N-S cut going S toward the E-W wall 5725.
