Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   This unit is a floor composed of a small patch of compact red clayey soil, located under the compact yellow soil of 5915. It measures 1.10m N-S, and 0.75m E-W, and has a clear boundary with the looser brown soil of 5924. It may have been cut by 5924, if it was a foundation trench for 5919, in which case this is one of a series of disturbed earlier surfaces. The unit was closed when we came down on the dark brown compact soil of 5925.
Later note: Further excavation showed that 5924 was in fact not a foundation trench for 5919, but rather a levelling patch for the floor above.
