Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. The soil color is dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   Context 6154 is located along the north flank of wall 5752 in the room northwest of the courtyard of the Byz. House.
Among the pottery assemblage was the rim for a pithos (c. 4-5ft high) with holes for firing. Also mixed in with this fill are a few well preserved rooftiles. Removal of this context is intended to clarify the relationship between the northern and southern sides of this room cut by cobble fill 6100.
