Description: | The context shape in plan is circular. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are vertical. The break at the base of the cut is not perceptible. The base of the cut is uneven. Truncation: The post hole seems to have been cut by Cut 6199..
Notes: | Cut (posthole) 6197 was uncovered when excavating fill 6191. When removing deposi 6198, however, it was too difficult to determine the lines of the cut because the deposit material was full of inclusions and did not seem perceptibly different from the area on the 'edge' of the cut. Because we were unsure of the stratigraphy and thought we might be blindly digging a hole, we decided to close the context.
