Description:   The soil color is dark brownish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   Context 6390 is part of robbing trench fill for N-S wall 6375 on the western side of the courtyard of the Byzantine house. It is an earlier fill than deposit 6349, which lay above it. Removal of this context exposed more courses of the wall below (6375), and it seems noteworthy that the southern terminus of 6390 is aligned with the north face of E-W wall 6206.
