Notes:   Context 6573 is a robbing trench fill between two walls 6016 and 5463. This fill is the latest context curently in the room N of the courtyard and is being excavated so we can get closer to closing out this room. This context has been found to have cut the dumped fill of context 6516 which was mistakenly excavated too early. A coin was found at the top of the context. Excavation has revealed what looks to be the top of an ashlar block at the bottom of the context. This block has evidence of mortar on its top and north side and is therefore thought to be evidence of a much earlier Roman wall. The robbed stone seems to have come from 5463, or it could be a threshold stone.
