The soil color is dark reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt. | | Notes: | | 6832 is a continuation of 6788 on the west side of 6737. Fill is dark reddish brown with lots of tile. Seiving yielded a coin (2010-053) preliminarially indentified as Byzantine.Soil remained consistent with the other fill in the drain where it curled around the cilindracle rough hewn block. In the north of the deposit a half column was revield supporting the geison block covering the drain. Inclusions increased significantly as we dug deeper. Both larger tile fragments and cobble stones were appearing with more regularity.
