Description:   Top slope of the context is moderate down to the SE. Bottom slope of the context is moderate down to the SEThe soil color is very dark yellowish brown. The soil compaction is loose. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   (formation cont.) sherds recovered from this small context.
EXCAVATION NOTES:
After Andreas and Thanasis closed B66 they immediately began to excavate B68. B68 is oriented roughly NW-SE and is intersected on its east boundary by two shallow roughly EW cuts (See the notes for B48). This context is much darker in color than the soil it is cut into.
B68 is dense with pottery sherds and bone fragments.
[Later note: this deposit seems to have been rubbish that either accumulated in an irrigation ditch or was purposefully dumped there out of convenience or to level the surface here.]
