The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | | Notes: | | Context 6951was opened after excavating the foundation trench for wall 6130 (6946, cut 6947), which truncated 6951 on the west. The soil in 6971 was redder than that in 6946, though both have rather soft fill. This context was closed when we reached the bottom of the fill, reaching a harder, more compact soil. At this time it is unclear to which phase of wall 5562 this trench dates to, although it is likely to date to the later phase of the wall (characterized by the use of larger blocks and tile, associated with cut 6567 along wall 5562 in the room N of the courtyard (elevations: 84.16-83.68). | | Context Pottery: | | Coarseware. basin.
