Truncation: by bothros 4. | | Notes: | | This context is a cut which pierced a florr layer (7058). It is located in the north of the 'pithos' room of Room F E-half. It is truncated by bothros 4 to the south. It is rectangular exept were it is truncated by the bothros, and the west end, which is rounded. Perhaps this is part a larger pit (bothros 4) that was missed in the 1961 excvations. After excavation, however, it is a much shallower cut than te bothros. Perhaps, it is a robbing trench and more of its length will appear later. It may also be pit that was used for another purpose in an agricultural room, e.g. storage. | | Period: | | 4th c.
