Prior to excavation, it was clear that this context was cut by robbing trench of 747 to the S, and by pit 860 to the N. The W side is bounded by the W scarp. Once digging started, it became clear that the W side of 863 was just a thin lens of soil over a rocky white strip along the scarp that continues N in the area, and most likely under the scarp.
