Stratum:   Mix of loose dry soil that has accumulated at the bottom of this pit (cut = B71) during the excavation of surrounding contexts.
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. Bottom slope of the context is level. The soil color is mixed. It is mixed- see description.
Notes:   While Bill was digging B87, much soil and many sherds fell into the bottom of the pit/well (B71). Since we have saved all of the fills excavated from this cut so ar for mending, we have decided to collect the pottery found here as well as a cleaning basket, in case it happens to contain sherds that belong to mended pots from the pit fills.
