Description:   The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is hard. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy clay.
Notes:   This context is the fill W of floor 936 and N of wall 945. This clayey soil, poorly sorted, came upon a flat hard-packed brownish soil (floor?), scattered lime is visible on its surface.
954 and 955 seem to be quite similar to one another, if we look at the composition and inclusions in their fills. Both these contexts were cut by pit 845.
