Description:   Top slope of the context is uneven. The soil color is light brownish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is poorly sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes:   This context was opened to peel back the martyr along wall 18 in order to explore the surface below context 87, cut 115, and to prepare to dig the robbing trench for wall 18 later. This context was cut by the late roman robbing trench.
Thus far it seems that the bedrock surface below context 87 extends to below this context. Another thin martyr was left to try to keep contamination from the robbing trench for wall 18 when it is dug later. The eastern boundary of cut 115 was also revealed, so now we can begin to excavate the cut within it.
