Description: | Top slope of the context is slight down to the NE. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is silt. | |
Notes: | we opened this context photographed it on 10/5, but did not begin excavation until the next day. We began this context after 515 because it was laid over the next visible context outside cut 497 (a thick rocky layer) and cut by 497, and the two layers visible at the bottom of that cut ran below the cut. | |
