Context: | 548 | |
Date: | 2016/05/20 | |

Description: | The context shape in plan is irregular. The top break of the cut is not perceptible. The sides of the cut are stepped. The break at the base of the cut is varies. The base of the cut is flat. Truncation: part of this cut lies under the section left for karkanas.
Notes: | this bothros was cut into the next surface visible in the trench, a sandy, virtually barren surface covering the rest of the trench. The bothros extends under the section left for karkanas, so we couldn't excavate all of it. Beneath this cut lies a layer of what appears to be cobbly fill, which we will excavate next session.
