Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the S. The context shape in plan is irregular". The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are mixed. The break at the base of the cut is not perceptible.
Notes:   The cut for deposit 101 is a very irregular shape. It was identified by the softer, darker soil of the deposit filling it. The cut truncates the fourth clay surface revealed in context 82, spliting it into two sections (east and west). The highest elevation of the cut is on the rubble pile on its NW extent at which point it runs down to a flat level on the north ending in the northern scarp. In the middle the cut stops at a few stones which apear to be a wall before it flattens out and runs into the southern scarp. Since the cut is of no discernible shape, we think it was likely water erosion since it appears to run down from the higher elevation of the rubble pile to the lower. If it is the result of human action, then perhaps it should be related to a robbing event of the rubble pile nearby.
