Description:   Structure materials: First course: medium and large boulders of limestones and fieldstones; second course: cobbles and tiles. Material size: limestones and boulders: 0.2 x 0.35; 0.33 x 0.42; tiles; 0.9 x 0.11. Material bonding: sandy silt.
Notes:   The drain runs in a NW-SE direction punching through Wall 310 to continue into the courtyard between Unit 1 and Unit 2. The drain was constructed by means of a first course of medium and large boulders of limestone and fieldstone (0.20 x 0.35), followed by a second course of smaller cobbles and tiles (ca. 0.9 x 0.11), and capped by capstones that consisted of medium and larger sized boulders, cobbles, and architectural spolia (capstones drain 232). The full extent of the drain is not yet known, as it continues its course eastward into the unexcavated deposits in the courtyard. It remains unclear whether it continued westward beyond its robbed out portion.
