| Description: | Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light brownish black. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is very poorly sorted. It is sandy silt. | |
| Notes: | We changed contexts in the fill of our it when the soil became lighter. There are fewer inclusions here than in 78. Some tile fragments are coming out but they are much less complete and less frequent than the concentration near the top of 78. Most ceramics are being collected at the seive. We decided to water seive to look for organics (there was charcoal spotted in 78--not sure about here). The pit is still getting deeper, so we've decided to start changing the contexts arbitrarily at 30cm passes, after he's done with what he's working on now.
