Type:   Basket
Name:   Temple E, Southeast, context 903
Area:   Temple E, Southeast
Title:   Burial cut of burial near robbing trench
Notebook:   1109
Context:   903
Date:   2015/06/22
Description:   The context shape in plan is oval. The top break of the cut is sharp. The sides of the cut are concave. The break at the base of the cut is gradual. The base of the cut is sloping. Truncation: At east by the robbing trench of wall 59.
Notes:   Grave cut for burial 2015-13. The eastern extent of the cut, and the burial therein, is truncated by the robbing trench or wall 59, and thus not present. Eastern coordinate is thus the maximum preserved. The western half is cut into the as-yet unexcavated surface.
LN 26/6/15 PJK: The cut 903 seems to cut into an earlier cut+fill to the south. At the end of the season, that deposit has not been excavated, but in the future, it would need to be removed before the surface into which it is cut.
