Notes:   This inhumation was found side by side to the south of primary inhumation, skeleton 970. The individual is supine with the hand turned to the right (south). The left upper limb is crossed over the chest with the hand likely over the sternum. However, the left ulna has been displaced and sits almost perpenidicular to the left radius with the proximal end underneath the midshaft of the radius. The legs are both slightly bent at the knee and turned outsards with the feet turned out as well. The left ulna is also oriented the opposite of its anatomically correct position, sitting E-W rather than W-E as the inhumation is oriented. The right arm has been disturbed. The right radius is not in antomical position, but is laid basically parallel with the proximal end at the medial midshaft of the right humerus. The right ulna is located further to the east at an obtuse angle with the radius laying on top of the right os coxa. Perhaps animal activity disturbed the arms.
A sacral bone was excavated from besdie the medial left tibia, along with a rib fragment. The lower vertebra and sacral bones have become displaced against the left os coxa, which displaced the unfused pubis and ischium. The right ulna is also oriented E-W not W-E. If the arm was folded over the chest as the left arm was, perhaps animal activity or the action of the decaying wood pushed the ulna and radii out of place?
