Notes:   A skull was already taken out by Kostas and set to the side with no associated jaw and two articulated feet appeared beneath the soil under 992, but Kostas says they are still within the cut. They were taken out together on Friday rather than stay in over the weekend as an associated jumble of bones, rather than as tumble 992 as they were separated by c. 5cm of soil of 989 with no bones jutting out, although it is possible that the two should be associated. The left and right foot are next to one another and incline slightly towards one another. Other bones are associated with this jumble as well, slightly to the south of the right foot. A third foot appeared below the left foot of 996, which Kostas began to remove. I asked him to leave it as it may go with the spine discovered when cleaning under 994. For now that foot has been replaced and covered with soil until we can clarify if this third articulated foot at a slightly lower elevation belongs with that disturbed burial.
