Description:   Slightly concave resting surface, nippled on interior. Convex wall with slightly flattened bottom.
Decoration:   Medallion decorated with small radiating acanthus leaves, ferns with horizontal ribbing, and pointed leaves; surrounded by two concentric circles. Corolla of tall ferns, rounded at the top with central rib and horizontal ribbing. Wall decorated with mythological figures. From left to right: unidentified draped figure with staff (?) at left, Paris and Athena from $Judgement of Paris$ series (cf. Courby Fig. 80, no. 10). Above Paris traces of fillet and rim pattern. Around medallion zone and up the sides of the wall broken lines indicate where the original mould was cracked. Black glaze on interior and exterior.

Material:   Fine pinkish buff clay, slightly micacaeous; some pits and white spots.
