Description:   Bowl with vertical ring foot, narrow resting surface, flat undersurface. Echinoid body, vertical tapered lip. Carefully finished.
Decoration:   White slip over all, thinly applied to exterior. Interior, medallion with simple bird to rt., no incised detail except for round eye. Compass point in wing; sprays in field on scaley ground; narrow border of circles; on lower and upper body two bands of rinceau. Clear glaze inside and over lip.
Material:   Moderately fine light red clay with scattered coarse white popped inclusions.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete or intact. Seven joining frgts., complete except for two small holes in floor, small segment of lip.
