Description:   Cup with convex, flaring body, relatively deep, with very slightly inset straight-flaring rim, fine lip. Horizontal loop handle canted, on body.
Decoration:   Interior glazed with reserved stripe on lip. Exterior reserved with broad black band on body below handle. In handle zone a ca. 9-petal palmette placed upright beside handle, with a red center and double scrolls, beneath which a tendril curls up to top of handle. Black line at top of body, handle black.
Writing:   dipinto. Dipinto in black glaze in handle zone, Greek: EKAIPIEIEY
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Seven joining frgts., preserving most of body profile to lip, ca. 1/6 circumference. Part of one handle.
