Description:   Plate with ring foot, profile vertical to biconical, narrow resting surface, recessed undersurface. Straight flaring body, rising at ca. 20 degrees to ca. H00.040, turning up more sharply, then out to nearly horizontal outturned rim.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On floor, medalliion withchampleve lion, leaping rt., head turned back; circular eye, long mane, forepaws raised; angular filling motif over back, floral spray to rt. No border. On rim, cross-hatching. Yellow glaze streaked to brown over interior, exterior of rim.
Material:   Fine light reddish-brown clay with scattered fine white, black inclusions.

Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile; ca. 1/2 foot, 1/4 body to rim. Chip in rim.
