Decoration:   Brown glaze on exterior, glaze on interior.
Material:   Brown clay with few small to large subrounded spherical and tabular white inclusions, and rare small rounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 5/3 (brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving complete knob, broken off from cover attachment; trace of finial. Glaze chipping off.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
Chronology:   Middle to Late Byzantine
