Description:   Plate with straight flaring body rising at ca. 30 degrees with uneven profile, turning up slightly to inward thickened rim with flat surface.
Decoration:   White slip on interior; large blue grifffin to rt., of which hindquarters and tail preserved, rampant, in blue, black edges with black curling claws; yellow tail of second animal behind, black dot in field, 3 black lines below rim; on rim, blue stripe over which interlocking segmental circles.
Material:   Off-white clay with fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly pinker than 2.5Y 8/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., complete body profile from just above foot to rim, ca. 1/8 circumference.
