Description:   Plate with wide shallow flaring body, with slightly flaring rim and rounded vertical lip; interior of rim offset by protruding ledge. Groove below rim. Similar to C-1933-712 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 181)
Decoration:   Unglazed, but two drips of yellow glaze on interior rim and lower body.
Material:   Moderately fine pink clay, thick fabric, with few small to large subrounded spherical and tabular red and gray inclusions, and frequent small and large voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small part of body and rim.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
Chronology:   Based on comparanda and Morgan 1942, Corinth 11.
