Description:   Plate with low flaring foot and deep body.
Decoration:   Green glaze on interior only. Impressed central medallion with bird (?) figure (according to original inventory book, fish figure) inside decorative border of radiating bars, in low relief. Design similar to C-1936-938 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 103).
Material:   Fine pink clay with few small and medium red and gray inclusions, and frequent small to large angular voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 8/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approximately half of foot and center of plate.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
