Description:   Plate with high flaring ring foot, horizontal body. Floor slightly rounded in center.
Decoration:   White slip on interior. Central medallion with birdto rt., with hooded eye, large beak, wing with longincised flight feathers, short feathers in tail.Floral spray on background. Outer ring of one plain,one beaded border. Glaze over all, becoming pale yellowon interior.
Material:   Fine light red clay with rare sand, fine to medium cream-colored inclusions (to 6mm).
Munsell Color:   Between 5YR 5/6 and 2.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., complete circumference of upper half foot, missing full profiile; floor, start of body.
