Description: | Lagynos with flaring ring foot, lower edge of which bent to vertical, narrow resting surface, flat undersurface. Body rises steeply with slight convex profile to max. diam. and sharp articulation to low sloping shoulder. Shoulder curves into tall conical neck, with at least one groove on preserved portions. 2 grooves on neck at attachment. In dilute brown to black paint: ivy tendrils on shoulder with clusters of 5 dots as filler. Dilute band at edge of shoulder, on on upper body; band circling base of neck. On neck opposite handle painted wreath with ends tied in bow and hanging down to base of neck. Band at top of neck. | |
