Description:   Plate with flaring ring foot, shallow, widely flaring body with slight convex profile, curving up to squared lip.
Decoration:   Incised-sgraffito, (Medallion-Style), as Corinth XI, cat. no. 1436, fig. 125. White slip inside to over lip outside. Incised central medallion containing quatrefoil on incised ground, framed by an inner band of incised running spirals and by an outer narrow incised bead band. On mid body incised harches band interrupted by three small medallions decorated with rectilinear incised split-palmettes. Wide band of simplified decadent Kufic just below lip. Pale yellow glaze all over, thicker inside to over lip outside. Double dipped. Three finger prints in white slip just below lip outside.

Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 5/4 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Six joining frgts, complete except for ca.1/5 foot, body and lip. Restored.
