Decoration: | Incised-Sgraffito (Medallion-Style), as Corinth XI, cat. no. 1436, fig. 125. Thick white slip on interior and overlapping lip. Incised on floor: small central medallion with 6-petal rosette composed of a spiraling tendril with outlines raised, centers scraped back; medallion surrounded by narrow band of beading. Light green glaze all over, thicker inside to over lip outside. | |
Material: | Moderately fine red clay with few white inclusions, some popped. (breaks covered). Phyllite A1? (no fresh break). | |
