Description:   Bowl with high flaring ring foot. Shallow, convex flaring body curving sharply up to vertical rim, with convex profile and tapered lip.
Decoration:   Incised-Sgraffito (Medallion-Style), as Corinth XI, cat. no. 1436, fig. 125. White slip inside to over rim outside. Interior: small central medallion with eight-armed cross on incised ground, surrounded by a band of decadent sgraffito Kufic. Sgraffito band decorated with rinceau motif just below rim. Pale greenish yellow glaze inside to over lip outside.

Munsell Color:   Edges 2.5 Y 7/3 (pale yellow), core 7.5 YR 7/3 (pink)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Eight joining frgts., preserving complete vase except for one-eighth of body and rim.
