Decoration:   In light slip on exterior, broad band of Kufic grouped in triangular formation alternating with large vertical spirals and palmettes at edge of shoulder; thin slip on interior. Bright yellow glaze out, making ground brown.
Material:   Fine red clay, well-compacted, with few fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   From 2.5YR 6/4 to 2.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., body.
