Description:   Local plate imitating Italian Sigillata Conspectus form 18 with slightly concave floor, vertical concavo-convex rim and tapered lip. Similar to C-1973-243 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 121), C-1936-1323 (Hayes 1973, Hesperia 42, cat. 204), C-1936-1783, and C-1936-1777.
Decoration:   Red slip (2.5YR 4/6) on interior and exterior. Interior glossy. Many holes on exterior surface. Two grooves below rim on interior.
Material:   Light red fabric with few small white rounded inclusions, few small black angular inclusions, medium round voids.
Munsell Color:   core: 2.5YR 6/6 (light red); edges: 7.5YR 7/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving 1/4 rim, part of body. Slip worn on rim.
Chronology:   mid to third quarter 1st c. CE, based on comparanda in Corinth 18.2
