Description:   Plate with low vertical ring foot, carelessly turned, irregularly flat resting surface, undersurface only slightly depressed below resting surface, with turning mark, nipple. Body turns out horizontally then up at ca. 45 degree angle to outturned, oblique round lip, offset from interior by groove. Turning ridges left on exterior and interior.
Decoration:   White slip on interior. Incised: a scribbled "M" in center of floor, spiralling circumference lines on upper body. Yellow glaze over slip and overlapping lip.
Material:   Moderately fine reddish-brown clay with scattered coarse white inclusions, abundant tiny white, black.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/5
Condition:   Complete profile. Six joining frgts., complete profile; complete foot, floor, ca. 1/6 upper body to lip.
