Description:   Pitcher with flaring trefoil rim, rounded lip, vertical strap handle attached to upper rim. Shallow groove on exterior below lip, and projecting ridge below rim. Similar to C-1934-677.
Decoration:   Brown glaze on exterior and upper rim interior.
Material:   Light red clay with few small and medium rounded and subrounded spherical and tabular white and gray inclusions, and frequent small rounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving rim and lip, and approx. 1/2 handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
