Description: | Pitcher with steeply sloping shoulder, contracting to narrow neck, neck conical, widening to moulded rim with heavy horizontal flange, narrow vertical lip. Tall conical spout, projecting from shoulder, bent slightly down toward preserved tip, tied to neck by a strap of clay. Vertical strap handle rising from shoulder to nearly height of rim, bending down slightly to mid neck, ridge down back, triangulartermination at base. Shoulder deformed slightly. | |
Decoration: | Shallow wheel-ridges on mid-shoulder; 2 rings at base of neck. Lustrous green glaze over exterior and interior of rim, mottled to greenish-brown. | |
Material: | Fine light brown clay with scattered tiny white (?) inclusions, a few voids, clay well compacted. | |
