Description:   Bowl with flaring ring foot, flat resting surface, slightly concave undersurface. Deep echinoid body curving up and inward to tapering lip.
Decoration:   White slip thickly applied to interior and overlapping lip; thin wash on exterior. Scratched on floor: central medallion with interlace pattern of quatrefoil with long pointed petals, behind which linked arcs, imbricate background. Circumference groove surrounding medallion, over which ring of brown dashes; on upper body to lip broad spiral band painted in brown. Clear glaze over interior and overlapping lip on exterior.
Material:   Semi-fine pinkish buff clay with few fine white inclusions, rare sparkling ones.

Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile, ca. 1/3 foot, 1/4 body and rim except for large hole in rim.
