Description: | Shallow bowl, slightly flaring ring foot, body flares horizontally to ca. maximum diameter, then curves up to almost vertical, squared lip flaring slightly outward and inward. | |
Decoration: | White slip on interior and upper part of exterior body. Interior sgraffito: 4 stylized palmettes/trees with long stems interlocking at center. Alternating brown or green painted stripe on stem, corresponding green or brown paint daubed in leaf area. Two circumference incisions enclosing central palmette design. Four incised cross-hatched triangles extending from inner circumference line, one between each palmette. Two additional circumference lines incised just below lip. Entire interior glazed a light greenish, glaze carries over lid and onto body, where darker green. | |
