Description:   Kantharos with moulded ring foot: nearly straight flaring with groove near upper edge, nearly flat resting surface, conical under-surface. Narrow stem, globular body outset vertical rim with concave profile, flaring lip. Two vertical strap handles attached to mid body and mid rim, with flat spurs on top.
Decoration:   Foot glazed inside and out with red washed resting surface and stem. Remainder glazed, with groove above lower handle attachment, above which incised ivy tendril with white ivy leaves, to base of rim. Interior glazed.
Material:   Fine buff clay
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts. , complete profile, both handles; missing parts of body. RIP.
