Description:   Plate with low base ring, flat undersurface. Shallow body rising at ca. 20 degrees with slight convex curve, vertical rim H00.026, tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On floor, sgraffito: large medallion with interlace on imbricate ground, narrow band of beading; broad band of thick plump Kufic alternating with spiralling floral spray on imbricate ground. Yellow glaze on interior and over rim.
Material:   Moderately fine clay fired tan with frequent fine voids, fewer small angular red, white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Yellower than 7.5YR 6/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile, 1/3 circumference.
