Description:   Bowl with slightly flaring ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Hemispherical bowl with vertical tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip, originally perhaps over all. Interior: large bird to floor, to r., with head turned back. Sharp small beak, double circle for eye with fold, stipples on breast, covert feathers, long straight wing and tail feathers; wing and tail directed downward. Floral sprays to either side. Pale yellow glaze oninterior.
Material:   Moderately fine light red clay with scattered black, white inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   Ca. 2.5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Seven joining frgts., complete profile; 3/4 foot, all floor, ca. 1/4 body to lip but giving diam. Glaze worn. RIP.
