Description:   Plate with low ring foot and a broad flat undersurface, shallow body with horizontal walls, vertical curved rim, rounded lip.
Decoration:   Sgraffito decoration on interior: a bird profile and two floreal patterns. White slip inside and over the lip covered by a thick green glaze pale on the rim outside the plate, some drips beyond the slip. Similar to C-1937-1179 (Corinth XI, p.276, no.1103)
Material:   Medium reddish yellow clay with few very large white rounded inclusions, few spherical and platy rounded voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Six joining frgts preserving 3/4 of foot, more than half of body and rim. Glaze well preserved.
