Description:   Bowl with disc foot and convex body (see C 1937 1316A), vertical upper body and rim, everted fine lip.
Decoration:   Brown glaze all over, light slip. Exterior with double row of spirals on upper body. On interior, spiral band and circumference line of upper body and band of tangent circles below lip. Similar to CP-1080 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 717).
Material:   Reddish-brown clay, fired gray at surface, with few small red and white subrounded tabular and platy inclusions and rare angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 5/4 (reddish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preseving small part of body and lip.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
